Our mission is to provide affordable and accurate health
screenings to find the people who are at risk of heart disease, stroke,
lung disease, and osteoporosis. This is a prevention program and
with early detection these conditions can be treated.
We offer these health screenings due to the inability of your
physician to order these kinds of tests unless you have visible symptoms.
Unfortunately over 80% of stroke victims do not have any prior warning
signs. And if you don’t have any symptoms your doctor cannot order
an ultrasound test for you.
Medicare and most insurance plans do not cover the cost of these screenings
unless a patient does have specific symptoms.
The tests are fast, accurate, painless and affordable.
Our registered sonographers use the same state-of-the-art ultrasound
technology used in hospitals and diagnostic laboratories at a fraction
of the cost. Your screening results are reviewed and confirmed by

Prevention Health Screening serves communities in PA, MD, DE,
and WV. We hold our screenings in churches, senior centers, community
centers, country clubs, corporations, synagogues and organization meeting
places to name a few. If your company or organization would like
to host a screening, please contact us and we will be happy to schedule
one for you.
Prevention Heath Screenings does not replace your doctor or hospital
in any way.
We simply supply additional information so that you may avoid
serious health problems. If a significant finding is suggested by the screening
service, you can take the report to your own doctor who can then order
further testing and possible treatment of the condition.

About Our Services and Staff
Services
The vascular screenings are performed with state of the art
Color Flow duplex ultrasound equipment and the bone densitometry screening
are performed with the only machines approved by the FDA for detection
and monitoring of the efficacy of treatment for osteoporosis.
The screenings are reviewed by Board Certified Vascular Surgeons with
significant experience in vascular disease and non-invasive vascular diagnostic
testing.
Your test results are reviewed and confirmed before being mailed to
you in seven to ten business days. Diagnostic tests utilizing similar equipment
in a hospital can cost from $400 to $800. Prevention Health Screenings
provides the same test with the same type of equipment and personnel to
help you become aware of a potential problem that could put your life at
risk.
