About UsOur mission is to provide affordable and accurate knowledge through health screenings which will empower people to make better decisions and take actions to improve and maintain their health. We use advanced ultrasound equipment, the same as the equipment found in hospitals, and our screenings are performed by highly trained healthcare professionals. Results are reviewed by
board-certified physicians from an ICAVL (Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories) registered laboratory to ensure the highest standards.

Since our inception in 2001, we have maintained a small company atmosphere that is dedicated to providing impeccable service. Before you choose a screening company please remember that in this industry "Bigger" isn't always "Better". We are proud to be a small company that can ensure our participants are receiving the best possible screening service.

Company History

We began our screening service in 2001 primarily because of the lack of screening opportunities for the abdominal aneurysm. Local vascular physicians that we have relationships with were unable to offer an aneurysm screening for the family members of an aneurysm patient even though they knew that family history is a major risk factor for aneurysms.

At our beginning we offered the abdominal aneurysm, carotid artery screening and the peripheral arterial disease screening to find people with undiagnosed vascular disease. Then in 2003 we added the osteoporosis bone density test as a mere convenience screening for our customers. In 2004 we added a pulmonary function test to check for COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). By this time we were completing close to 15,000 screening a year.

In 2005 Kevin Felmlee became President of Prevention Health Screenings. Through his vision we expanded the company by employing 2 more registered vascular technologists. From 2005-2007 we screened over 7200 people and administered over 36,000 health screenings. In 2008 we added the Atrial Fibrillation EKG heart rhythm screening. Then in 2009 we added the ultrasound Thyroid Screening for general abnormalities. Also this year the company expanded again to include a sales representative, 2 additional technologists, and administrative staff. Currently, we screen on average 42,000 health screenings per year.
